Have a problem rytec downloading uk epg stops every time on 2997 events all over providers get full epg running latest pli image 03/06/2010 and installed latest rytec list?confused::confused::confused:

You only get the option for the Rytec EPG download with the EPG Importer in OpenPLi.

Try disabling all EPG and leaving just the UK EPG enabled. Then re-boot and try a manual download. Let us know what happens.

Also delete the existing EPG.dat from /media/hdd

Hi Sicilian tried all the things you suggested wont go past 2997 events have done factory reset and uninstalled the rytec plugin reinstalled it same problem every other provider works great just not the uk epg very odd

Fixed the problem swapped Catseye Enigma2 Settings for the VU+ Support.co.uk Enigma2 HD settings now works perfect thanks for all the help Sicilian

Strange that one. Not sure how swapping the settings affected the EPG Import :confused:

The imported EPG isn't governed by the installed settings/bouquets.

The EPG thats imported is mapped to channels ref's. Catseye's settings/bouquets would have more or less the same channels ref's. The latest VU+ Support.co.uk Enigma2 HD settings where based on Catseye's settings with some the added full Sky UK bouquet and added HD bouquets for many other satellites.

Imo It was most likely a server issue on Rytec's side, either the uk epg.dat file was in-complete or a problem with his server making the import timeout.

Strangely enough had the exact same problem here, and loading VU+ Support.co.uk Enigma2 HD settings fixed it for me, it also fixed the picicons on Astra 2 that were not working before.... Wonder if this has got something to do with catseye settings only having 28.2 in the satellites list where as VU+ Support.co.uk Enigma2 HD settings still have 28.2 and 28.5 even though they all appear as one satellite?
