PCSC Driver & Omnikey

When the VIX will support omnikey with a demon or a *. ipk, such as Sif or Nemesis?

I'm definitely liking for many users of the VIX.

truthfully you seem to be the only person who has requested support for the omnikey with VIX. i'm not saying that it wont be supported but the team have more pressing things to concentrate on. dont worry, if support for the omnikey does come about it will be announced here.

adding drives as pheonix says is not a big deal but the reaoson why not as no one has one to test

we have smargos and pcsc pheonix readers but no omnikey

maybe u can donate one to andy for drivers to be added

thats easily sorted, as i stated in a previous thread on this subject. i my self have a omnikey 3121 that i can gladly send to or hand deliver if need be to andy for such purposes.

keep it on ya pheonix yr a beta tester/mod anyway so we can use u to test it

i will speak to any about omni key adition

if andy needs it we shall holler at ya

Have you tried installing manually? Not sure if this works on a receiver but works with linux pc: -


sudo apt-get install pcscd


sudo apt-get install pcsc-tools

Then plugin omnikey and do


pcsc_scan

andy now has an omnikey and i have mine arriving tmoz or friday

i spoke to andy and we can impliment it as long as we have the source code to the drivers

so if anyone can get hold of them and pass em over we can add it in
