Vu+Duo Tuner WOW

Last night was scanning in 7w and god knows how i managed to bring in 240 channels on 7w,not a big deal you may think but using a 1.1 dish how the hell am i bringing in channels like jsc sports 5-10.I have to put it down to a combination of position in the south west ,lnb and the tuner in the VU,has anyone else been able to achieve results like this on a similar set-up I for one would be interested to know

What snr r u getting on those channels? Maybe the beam of the satellite has changed?! Wouldn't think so, but who knows... lol

that duo i gave ya mate is a hero i always found the tuner to be sensative on it

so much more than the duo i got now

on 28.2 i was able to pull 1149 channels on the duo i gave u and the one i got now i only can pull 1041 channels

Funny you say that i did actually notice a difference, you would of thought all the duo tuners would be the same

I don't think anything has changed on Nilesat. I've always been able to get quite a few V transponders with H transponders coming in after 7PM. However, with my present dish and of course the VU+ I can get all of the V transponders and most of the H transponders 24/7, although nothing from AB4 or 201. Of course being a bit further South than the UK helps a lot. The horizontal transponders hover between 30% and 43% SNR and my best vertical is 69% SNR (City7 TV)

I get between 55 & 60% on city 7 dependant on the time of day and like you i think i get all of the verticals 24/7
