Hi.
Anyone tell me if I can clear Hotbird with a Sky mini-dish (43cm?)? I'm thinking south of UK.North France.

Thanks

South of Uk you can use a Sky Zone 2 63cm ;) http://www.world-of-satellite.co.uk/Satallite-Dishes/Sky-Zone2-63cm-Mesh-Dish-with-QUAD-LNB

I couldn't say for sure as I've never tested myself, take a look at the footprint here

I'd say its going to be borderline, but like I said i'm not 100%.

i live in a zone 1 area but due to zone 2 being so cheap i always buy zone 2 dishes bettter value for money

unless yr looking at using yr own dish which if its a zone 1 already then highly likly it will catch 13e hotbird aswell

I am going camping, so want the smallest dish possible - think I'm going to have to buy a 50cm+ to be safe.

Thanks for all the replies.

lol i'd hardly call it camping if your taking a satellite dish, i mean when i got camping i take a knife, that that's about it.

Thanks, I saw that - but it all comes back to my original question...what size do I need? - the one you give appears too small for hotbird as it looks like 50cm+ is the way to go.
