It will be a decent Motor, not sure what "supreme intelegence" has to do with it though, in that it would either be correctly installed/aligned or not, but as far as buying it goes, yes, it will be ok

the dark motors are very good motors to go for personally though, i'd rather get a technomate 2600 motor, its got the full metal gearing and does every thing you need with a nice pricetag from the site sponsor too.

How desperate are you for one of these? We will getting stock of these in the next week or two.

We have the TM-2600 in stock which is bullet proof imo.

the TM2600 has all metal gears. and to be fair how fast do you want the motor to be ?, for example my 10 year old motor takes no more than 40 seconds to go from 28.2 east to 30 west, and the TM2600 does it faster than that.

I am in no rush was just looking for some feedback seems like the TM-2600 is tried and tested but would be happy to try this darkmotor if anyone could confirm its a good motor

i personally would go for technomate that dark motor

plus who wants that fancy led anyway u not gonna be sitting in garden looking at it and its prone to fail

less bells and wistles in my opinion is the better option

i think the whole point of the led on the back is to make it a one man job setting up the motor. no need to have it connected to a tv or sat box. all can be done with a decent meter and your own finger to get it to the far off sat to see the elavation/decolonation to get it right.

iv'e never needed more than a £5 analogue meter and half a hour to set up a dish my self. so for me it's a useless feature.

Bah ... proper sat fitters do it connected to the box looking at the signal given to the box from the tv, and signal being shouted out the window :p
