I have a Jeager H-H polar mount with a 1.2M dish and am controlling it via a V box from my satbox. I am currently using Diseq 1.2 to control the dish as the V box will not handle 1,3 (USALS). It is very tricky finding the 'awkward' satellites by nudging manually as well as being a tediously long job. Ideally I would like to have USALS but retaining the same mount/dish etc. Is there another 'V-box' positioner that WILL handle USALS to control a H-H mount like the Jaegar?

Thanks.

Barry.

Unfortunately no, all the various V box positioners work pretty much the same. I suppose your dish is an old signalmaster?

It's a solid Channelmaster dish. Quite heavy so no use with a 'normal' direct-driven H-H mount.

Pity really as it's alovely motor.

Ah well...

the channel master uses either a actuator arm or the jeager 1224 h to h [very expensive hard to get]

The OP is looking for a simpler way of using USALs or a better positioner.
