Overlapping recordings on timer ?

On my duo I have been able to record up to 6 channels simultaneously.
However, if i try use my timer for recording channels that overlap, it dosnt let me.
Can it be done ?
I am using vix 2.1

What needs to happen, is that the channels you are trying to record, need to be able to get access to a tuner...

Currently, on my box, I only have 1 lnb input... So, for example, if I am recording an item on Sky 1 HD @ 28.2e, then I am unable to record a lot of other channels... I am able to record, for example, Sky Atlantic HD, GOLD+1, Alibi+1, Sky 3D, but, I am not able to record ITV1 HD, BBC1 HD, BBC HD, as these are unavailable to the tuner...

My suggestion would be to manually set up a recording on one channel (e.g. Sky 1 HD), then set up a recording on another channel (e.g. BBC HD), then, if you scroll through your bouquet, you will see a list of channels you can record (show by white text) and you can't record (shown in a darkish grey text)...
