I put new v2.1 image in, opened box an cleaned it out free from dust whilst at it, but wanting to do a mod of some sort.
I would like to have a led display panel but nothing about them anywhere until i was just watching a vid on youtube and guess what, the owner has a blue lit panel.
Anyone know how this can be done at all
Thanks

Heres vid, it shows panel at beginning

Have you sent the uploader a message - easiest way you will find the answer.

Yes, exactly my idea: nothing new there!.
Colours on a video can be misleading.

Ther's nothing to "set".

Two members state theirs are blue, so must be out somewhere.

Here it is a greenish blue, depending on the brightness.

Can the posters take a pic and show the display, just to put my mind to rest that it could possilby be light interfering with pics as metioned by one member.

Here's mine

Again: colours of a VFD on a picture or a video are far from reliable. Describing the colour is much better.

I disagree merely as mine clearly shows it is a light green colour and can say it is also and they do say the camera never lies

No idea who "they" are, but be assured that VFD-colours are hard to picture.

Here's a pic of mine. Gotta say that the pic from the camera looks 10x better than in real life!

In the pic, it looks quite blue, almost white, irl, it looks much duller and greenish...

In contrast, here's a pic of the et9000 and in same picture...

Et9000 much brighter as u can see...

Yep, but brightness is easy to adjust in the systemsettings (and has nothing to do with the colours).

Whereas one on youtube is for sure blue.
I wonder if contacting the makers of the duo would answer this? i think i will email them
