How to browse on the internet from the VU+ DUO

Hello everybody,
can someone tell me if it is possible to browse on the Internet from the VU+ Box?
If yes, what do I need to install on the VU+ DUO?
I presume that a browser software is needed.

there is no such plugin at the moment

and what happen to good old sateliite viewing on the DUO and internet browsing on a PC

There is a browser plugin that is being developed for the dreambox and I believe it works on the Duo too, for the life of me though I can remember what its called. Think its also got some kind usb keyboard/mouse support. I'll have a dig around see if i can find it.

Its called Qt Webbrowser, but mainly working on Dreambox.

Well, there is a DUO-adapted version (>55MB, so better download it via the link), but for support you will have to be able to speak German see

I have no experience with this plugin (I have a nice little laptop for browsing....), so no idea how it all works (if it does...)
