epg problems

hi guys , when i hit the epg button i only get whats on now and next (sometimes) with many channles epg not showing - im trying to record the boxing thats on 2.00am this sunday on setanta but cant - what am i doing wrong and how do i install cross epg and use it correctly becasue im obviously doing it wrong ?

press blue button/VIX/Settings/ and make sure EPG Location is USB Stick or HDD which you use. you can use CrossEPG by pressing blue button/vix/CrossEPG. configure it so that it is stored on USB Stick or HDD and chose the settings you desire. then go to OpenTV and pick the providor you want which in your case should be 28.2e Astra Sky UK. then Download EPG and that should download it for ya

Scroll down To RyVIX
Blue Button (Sources)
Select Satmate Sky UK and any others you require (Green Button)
Yellow Button (Manual)
It may take a while depending how many you select.
That's it, your EPG should have been updated.

There's lots of options in there to auto update.
Just have a play around.....Simples.
