dreambox 500 and virgin media router

please help new to all this stuff (sorry)new virgin media router netgear vmdg280 cant get box to talk; will it need router setting up finds ip address and router address on dreambox but still cant view all channels any help please and thankyou:

Be careful where this thread goes.

Make sure both your router and dreambox have dhcp enabled and reboot.
