Gone here also since yesterday. Probably moved to the FTA position already. let's see if I can dig up the frequency for ya somewhere.

New frequency for ya: 12.606 V, 27500, 3/4, S2

changed settings in DB edit now doing a full scan. Is it right that 4 services changed when I put in the new frequency?

Still no joy with 4HD. I must be doing something wrong. What is the correct way to alter the frequency?

simplest way is to copy a new satellites.xml to your box and do a rescan as the transponder your trying to scan will not be in your satellites.xml file.

I used filezilla to get into var/tuxbox, removed satellites.xml file then dragged the new xml file there. I then used DBedit to send files to vu+ duo then done a rescan. It shows 4HD in the bouquet but can't watch anything on that channel. Is this the correct sequence to do it?
Thanks.

yes thats correct. where are you located ? as the new TP for this channel has a much tighter footprint and as a result some non uk viewers may not be able to receive it.

you could maybe try using a preset bouquet like the SGTFlipFlop pack

I'm in Scotland. Using a new bouquet silverfox0786. I was using catseye bouquet but didn't need all the other sats.

hmm. try the SGTFlipFlop one first and see if that sorts it. if it does copy the satellites.xml file from this bouquet into the silverfox one.

It's going to be no good using anyones pre done settings as the frequency only just changed ! You wont need a new XML file either. Scan it in at 12606 v3/4 27500 then download to DBedit and delete any CH4HD other than the one you will have on 12606 / 28250 & save resend to box reboot & voila.
Zee TV is still showing in Rytec EPG though.

if thats the case it has only just changed this morning again as last night the SR was 27500.
plus it never hurts to spend 15 seconds changing the satellites.xml , in fact that's a very good habit to get into.

Scanned this into but its giving problems when changing channels as it says " channel not available, check tune", entering channel no of problem, strange.

I' ve sorted it. It needed to be moved into the bouquet, for some reason did not like it in ALL and using the back / forward arrows.

SGTFlipFlop working and getting 4HD. Just no picon attached to it, all others are there. Not too bothered about that. Got the channel so happy again. Thanks Phoenix.
