Backup user specfic settings

I believe the NFI backup plugin will make a complete backup of your Pli image on HDD. Is it possible to just backup user specific settings such as tuner config, passwords etc and then restore this info to a newly installed image.

Press blue button > Software Management > Theres an option in there to backup/restore settings. Cant remember exactly whats its called right.
