I have transfered "all" CCams and installed them. Which should I use, and how do I activate it...?

All..? You can only run one of them, and in my Vu+ Duo, version 2.2.1 is working just fine. It might of course be different on your box.

As Hamram says, any version should be fine. Depends which you want really... Most people would probably go with 2.2.0 or 2.2.1 because of the fact that ecm times are fixed for the vu duo (and likely the et9000)...

Hi Hamram & others!
I'm about to buy a Clarke Tech ET9000, with embedded conax, and wondered if the new Vix Team ET9000 image v.2,1 5.03.2001 is 'set-up' to run CCam for CD Nordic. I've no idea how to transfer the files once the receiver is flashed with this image (as i'm completely new to this receiever), and would really appreciate some simple 'step-by-step' instructions on hot to do this... sending a PM to me would be great.

hope someone can explain how to use these CCam files!

thanks in advance,
regards,

the VIX images are all fta, and do not have the cam downloads
to modify the unit, via adding cams is possible
but you need to use google to help you on this one

ok, thanks for letting me know...i'll google a bit.

a bit strange though, because when i scroll down in the long list of features in this image software, there seems to be a section called 'softcam manager'? Didn't think it would be that easy!

yes there is a section of the unit that allows managment of softcams, but they first have to exist within the unit, so you need to learn about manuel installs
