Need advice on setting up Parent Controls

Hi Guys, Ive bit the bullet and cancelled my Virgin Media Sub and am in the progress of looking thru the channels on my Vu+. What I am wanting to do is set up a couple of groups of Favorites, One for me, One for the Kids and one for the Porn (so i can keep it from the kids). What is the best way for me to block access to certain channels from the Kids (Pref with a PIN)? Ive noticed a Blacklist and Whitelist file on the box and also mention of them within the setup menu of the box. How exactly would I go about adding stations to these lists and whats the best/quickest way of doing so. Once again, Cheers fellas for your invaluable help :)

EDIT: My main goal here is to block access, I will deal with adding favorites etc at a later time.

dependant on how clever your children are ( DO NOT UNDER ESTIMATE ) and how clever your Mrs is, also do not under estimate

you need to do the following

1, do not record any thing that may cause a problem
2 enable "protect setup" this will stop any blue/red/yellow/green functions along with any other menu buttons ( ie setup, network, updates etc )
3 enable "protect services"
4, if you are away for any length of time, disable your motorized dish in tuner cfg ( it will be password protected )
5 do not forget your password
