dcc help needed

i am trying to connect to my vu+ with dcc i can get it to connect ok the line between the computer and vu in dcc is green but if i try to use ftp it says please login with user and password im new to the vu but is there a way i can find out what the passwod is and where would i enter it any kelp would be great

DCC like there to be a password set. The Duo comes without password, i.e. blank password. You need to set a password.

If your using windows xp goto start > run > and enter cmd

If your using vista or win7 you may need to enable telnet in programs and features.

tbh i never set a password for the box,i just connect using root and dreambox as password

still cant connect to vu i have changed the image and put a password on the vu and put the password on dcc it says network ok
but when i try the go to ftp it says Telnet Connected
FTP Connected

Bootmanager: not found.
Telnet Disconnected
Telnet login incorrect!

roy are using the image we have here in the forum powered by PLi

Can you give it a try with dreambox edit, there is a version here that doesn't need setup into ur computer.
