USALs do depend on the motor/dish being setup correctly

in tuner config, ( menu, setup, tuner config ), how have you got the unit setup, ie; tuner A is set to what?? static dish, or motorized? Tuner B, same question

the tuner with the motor connection, if you have a static dish as a second option, should be B = MOTORIZED and tuner A set to static

tuner B would then need your USAL settings ( most likely best set to simple, rather than advanced )
tuner A if static, should be set to single satellite, ie, at a guess 28 east

ive set tuner a to usals not using tuner b atm

ive set it to simple put my long/lat goes to 1w but no signal try moving west and east no signal what so ever

thought i could have blow the lnb but poped my azbox back and work straight away

my question is do i need to use tuner b instead of a to set usals up

this has got to be the hardest box ive had to set up 5 hours now not 1 sat its found

IF you intend having a second dish, the I would recommend Tuner B as your motorized dish, however, if your AZ unit works ok on all sats, then so should the VU

are you sure the dish is actually moving, with the VU ??

check that the positioner option in your tuner config is set to 1.2 disque

if it is, then I would adjust the east west settings by 1 degree incriments
if the dish is not moving, try going to advanced, again put in your usal setting,

and select "extra voltage" as well
in advanced, once your basic settings are in place...you then scroll back to satellites, and select the next sat that you want, ( set all sats to lnb 1 ) and repeat untill you have the sat you require, for quickness, select say 28/19/13 east, and 1 west

use sat finder to see if you are locking on sats, or passing them
