Guy`s im having trouble getting dream up to flash a image to a corrupted DM500s, I have the 500s connected to dream up & it will start to flash a image, but after about 1 minute a get a box coming up and stating [ aborted by user,exiting ] does anybody have any idea what is happening here, Thanks !!

which version of dreamup are you using ?

V1.3.3.7 m8, it is connecing no probs, it should be ok, or i would not excpect it to connent in the first place m8 ??

ok pheonix m8, i believe it is giving me the same fault as the last version exept with different words, the pop-up windows is now saying [ upload packet failed to send ] the other version v 1.3.37 had a pop-up window saying [ aborted by user,exiting ] now it is a pli image and im trying to flash it with the words pli.img in the image,should i be changing the wording before i try to flash the pli image m8, like .... 4.img or something like this ?? Cheers

no you dont need to change the name of the file. it sounds like either a problem with the box or the null modem cable.

yea, it could be the box m8, is was working fine, and then there was an issue with the mains stepdown transformer it was blinking on & off and the tv screen went blank, so i do not know if it has damaged anything inside the box ?? Thanks m8

ok guys, can confirm that version 1.3.2.1 worked with my box, this was the 4th version i tried, and it worked, so one to remember guy`s, Cheers !! [ might be worth putting in thedreambox 500s downloads guy`s ?? ]

Had the same problem also. Finally i used version 1.3.2.1 and everything was ok!

i've had that bloody message for that last 12 hours been trying everything, just found this thread at last a version that works 1.3.2.1 the indicator bar is now happily jogging on.
