Advise needed on advertising a new website

I will try and cut a long story short..

I will have a new website up and running shortly. (Non sat related)

Please can anyone advise of a cost effective way of getting this site name out there..

It will be aimed at the motoring community.. if thats any help..

Please ask any other questions that may help you to help me..

go to local papershop or whsmith and pick up all the car mags have a scim through and grab as many email addresses u can

then walk out lol
