Reflashed with Vix 2.0 but do not get a clean install,it loads the old settings from before the reflash, formatted hdd/usb, can you wipe internal flash ?.

Tried Factory Reset under Menu > Setup > Factory Reset ?

Check your flashing image folders, as if you have formatted all dried it should have nothing to restore. Try flashing with another image,than vix again.

Where can i find Open pli image to try. also where are the flashing image folders stored.

although personally i would not touch a nightly build image.

nightly build images are usually 100% stable, dont know why would anyone recommend not using them.

stable or not there BETA images automaticly generated each night. this method can and does introduce instabilities which can and does lead to failures. personally i would never trust a nightly build image on any receiver i own unless i was using it for development purposes.

I was using their beta images from over a year (first 1.0 then 2.0) and from my experience its safe to use them. You cannot brick the receiver, worst case scenario is that you need to reflash.

no one said you can brick the receiver. but personally i dont trust nightly builds. thats just my personal opinion.

Used open pli image to overwright vix 2.0, gave me a clean slate, reflashed with vix 2.0 and all those errors dissapered on reflash HAPPY-BUNNY.
