thats absolutely strange mate, wish i was round your area i woulda come round and tried to help ya. have you been able to try the box at someone elses just to see if its not anything at your property that could be causing it? maybe a faulty box but dont take my word for it, try and exhaust every option possible. unplug all other devices and so just ur reciever is connected, remove ethernet cable, usb, hdmi, unplug everything and just connect power cable and see if box boots up fine, then connect hdmi and work forward from there

I am using DCC E2 at moment how do i send files back to vu+.

You need to open a telnet session and change your password on the box and than type this into DCC and you will be able to FTP.
Use RUN in windows and than telnet vu ip address
login is root and password is blank IIRC
than one you have root up type passwd and change it to whatever you want.

Its a glitch in DCC even when no password has been set it throws a wobbly.

Is there a telnet command to send files back to receiver using DCC E2.

Stanman

You don't need a telnet command to achieve this. In DCC there are two windows and in the middle of this is a left tight arrows, you use these to move from or to the box, will need to make sure the folders you want to move the file to is in the active window.
