View Full Version : recording 3d films
just a naive question but is it possible to record a sky 3d film to vu+ hard disk and play it back normally so I can watch it in 3d whenever i want. just splashed out on a 3d tv recently and was wondering if the recording of these films will work as it does for hd/sd. thanks

yes, you can record 3d events, without a problem

Like Baz says no problem at all. your record it as split screen. The TV does the work with 3D play back.
thanks, thats a good clarification. i was wondering if i had to enable 3d mode while recording but as you say i only need to do that when playing the film back. appreciated

remember to that you can revert it to normal tv even tho its been recorded in 3 d .there should be a bit in settings on your tv which will allow you to switch of 3 d mode and watch it as a normal film

yes, although recorded as a 3d event, on the samsung TV, whilst watching a recorded 3d event, there is an option to watch it as a 2d event

Hadn't noticed that Baz. Got 3D conversion or side by side and top on bottom view.
