I used to be able to access my VU+ Duo box remotely using
http://username.dyndns.org:9999/ Allowing me to record when I was at work.
But since flashing with the VIX 2.0 I'm unable to access this option, now thinking back I'm sure that I enabled something in the VTI Webinterface to allow me the remote access....
Here comes my question, where is this option available in the VIX 2.0 Image ?

I'm at work and I have just thought of this question.

Thanks In Advance.

You must have had your port set to 9999 in Web Interface Plugins.
If you go to plugins and change 00080 to 09999 it should work or try http://username.dyndns.org to see if its working.
Dont forget to set a passowrd.

Is not my real dyndns account and port number...That's just made it up for training purposes, and yes I have opened another port on the router.
My question is...On the VIX image is there the Webinterface menu like there is on the VTI image so I can input the port number and enable remote access.

Thanks, and sorry for the confusion.

If you have an iPad there is a great app for setting recording and sufing the channels ( like TV Times - remember that!!) and allows you to set record.

It's called: iremoteDream. There might be an iPhone version.
