Is any one else having a problem with a noisy box as mine is very audible i assume its the heat sink fan?

Does any one know the fan size so i could change it for a quiet one?

Had the box for a week so it cant full of dust yet!

well, make sure it is the fan first as it might be a capacitor or so.

how is the sound, whistling, buzzing....etc.

as for the size, it is 50x50x10

I can hear my fan first thing in the morning when everything of off, cant hear it when watching TV. I've read reports of peeps disconnecting them from new and not having any issues, although i wouldn't recommend this though for warranty purposes.

I was a noisy fan victim on my old box which also had another issue.
There was no fan noise for almost 2 weeks when the box was new, so when it started, it was very noticeable.
The noise I had was not what I would describe as usual fan noise, it was more of a gentle ticking sound, but it could be heard above normal TV volume level.
My new box is silent, and if the fan becomes noisy, I will replace it myself.

Found the source of the noise its not the case fan its the way the case fan is secured to the the rear casing some anti-vibrating grommets should do the trick!

Thanks for all the inputs
