View Full Version : Tuner Config
Could someone advise me please. My setup is VU+ duo with vix v2.0.I have just orderd a motorised dish and 4 outputs on my lnb. What is the best tuner configuration ie tuner A and tuner B:confused:
IIRC its tune B for the motor otherwise if you put if on a it will move the dish on every channel change if its bot on that sat.i
If you using just one dish, use Tuner A. If using a fixed and motorised then use Fixed to Tuner A and motor to Tuner B.
What about actual tuner settings?

For what type of dish? Fixed or motorised?
I have a motorized dish running smoothly, but I intend to use a separate static dish as well on 28.2. I am using VIX 2.0 image. Thanks

This is maybe a stupid question but do i have to do a scan again once I install a second dish?

No, you can transfer a set of motorised Enigma 2 settings, http://www.world-of-satellite.com/forumdisplay.php?21-Enigma-2-Settings maybe start with cateyes, guide here to transfer http://www.world-of-satellite.com/showthread.php?623-How-to-send-save-Enigma-Settings-to-the-VUDuo-using-DBEdit
But if I transfer new settings to the box it is going to overwrite my current motorized settings, wright?

Oh sorry, just remember you adding a static dish, no you need to do anything then. Just change the tuner settings.
Thanks for that, I will update this thread once I installed everything.
Well finally managed to Install the second dish and everything is running as it should be.
