How did you update the image, via software update or online flash?

Either way you need to flash the receiver with latest software

I completed a software update
Plan to upgrade again reinstalling 6.4.007

You need to flash as that image is corrupted, hence no ViX plugin

you still have 2 multiboot slots ....... so if you have now installed 6.4.007 and boot to it, you should be able to resore settings and finish the initialisation.
After that you should be able to use teh ViX plugin to flash another image into slot 1 or 2.
If by the dual boot, you mean the DefineOS image (?), then you would have to download from the network, but not sure why you would want this factory (Octagon) image.

So if you have 6.4.4 installed and working with the ViX plugin....
Blue button, select VIX
Run Backup settings.
Then choose ImageManager , go to downloads and download latest, then flash to slot 2 --- on reboot restore settings

If slot doesn,t show in multiboot selector it means there is no E2 image recognised in that slot.
If you go to imagemanager and try flashing, it will bring up all the slots available…….you should then see both slots 1 & 2
