Hi.
I created vix.po for the Slovak language, converted it to vix.mo, but I still see the original version
What am I doing wrong?

since which version is vix.po no longer valid from "opkg install enigma2-po enigma2-plugin-vix-core-po" ?

If there is an incomplete/unfinished name (msgid) in the POT and it is complete in the PO, is there a translation or is the default language displayed?

Forget the POT, just worry about what is in the PO.

What box are you running? Really would be preferable if you were using the dev image.

So the correction and translation of the original SK version is done.
I was quite surprised that there are quite a few German words in there.
Although all phrases are translated, enigma2 refuses to translate some of them and still displays them in English.
For example:
