I have noticed that there is no longer a way of consigning a button to "softcam Manager" Is that true or am I missing something.

I think I have the same question? Openvix 6.4.003 (Gigablue UHD UE 4K)

Why do you need it? How often do you look at the setup or change cam? In my view Softcamscript is better anyway.

Thanks, but what s softcamscript?

Most cams come with a softcam script loaded into /etc/init.d at install time (same for OpenPli and OpenATV and therefore I guess other images).
Menu/setup contains entries for Softcam Manager and softcam script... if you have an oscam installed for instance such as Oscam-latest, a script is loaded softcam.oscam-latest into /etc/init.d and if you go to Menu/setup/softcam script you can select this oscam.
However, before you do that you have to install the correct files into /etc/tuxbox/config/oscam-latest .... not /etc/tuxbox/config

In my view clears faster than using Softcam Manager and makes it easier running different cams with different configs

I still think it was a useful feature being able to assign a button for it.
I miss it.

Softcam manager used to be available via the blue button, don't know why it's been removed as it was useful.

Softcam manager is in the menu... menu > 1 > 7 > 3.

Why do you need a shortcut, it's a setup page?

In sofcam manager press menu and choose show in extensions. I'm not sure if it will need a reboot to show via blue button after changed

Yes that works. And then you can assign a button for that function.
Thanks dsayers.
