Had a strange one tonight, I was just watching tv and suddently the TFT went green and all liney (Image below) No image / Audio & hdmi showing on tv as Disconnected. After I turned the unit off and back on it is working again, I have only had this around 3 weeks so a little worried that this may continue to happen !! Anyone have any ideas what is going on ??
I am using openvix 6.3.007 - Nothing in the crash logs folder,

Hi , thanks for your reply. no remote did nothing at all.
Dave.
You might have to make sure logs are enabled and that you have a HDD ?
Sometimes when boxes crash people will ask for a crash log to see what the cause is and might have to reboot box after logs are enabled

Thanks , will set this tomoz. Looks like hardware fault to me with the way it went. If it was hardware i assume it may not record its demise. Fingers crossed and thanks for your help
Dave.
Sometimes if i get excited and press buttons too fast i can get a crash but going slow is okay , in your case you said it just happened.

Yeh was just watching it , was not using remote at time so no interaction. Very strange.
Dave.
Looks like hardware faultI doubt it. What have you got loaded apart from the standard image. Lcd4Linux?

Just the standard image , Only plugin I have added was the cache flush one. Standard EPG. Would a software fault realy cause this sort of issue then ??
Dave.
I would Query Cacheflush as was only needed on less powerful boxes ??
Where is your epg been saved to and hoping its not Internal Flash.

EPG stored on internal HDD. I can get rid of the cash flush then if its not needed.
Dave.
Others may confirm to Remove it
