Box only came with a quick start guide and was wondering how to setup my Lg TV on remote is there a full manual booklet for setting up TV for the octagon sf8008

You only need a manual when the software is badly written and can't be changed easily. Maybe that is why your tv needs one.

But anyway with things like smart phones and enigma2 receivers it would be impossible for the manufacturer to supply a complete manual because they have no clue what software/image you are going to install.
