View Full Version : WIFI 'N' Sweex LW153 RT3070 NOT WORKING

According to the vti 2.2 bumf
"Support for WLAN Stick with RT3070 chipset (802.11b/g/n)"

Well just had one of theses turn up and it doesnt seem to work
The Sweex LW153 has the RT3070 chipset but it doesnt even show up in the network setting any ideas

Have you installed the drivers, plugged it in and then rebooted to see if it is recognised?

We are hopefully looking into the RT3070 drivers soon in the ViX image.

Ive got quite a few wireless n adapters at home with a few of those drivers going to mess about and see if any work when i get a minute lol

ok enlighten me how do i install the drivers for this onto me vu according to the image specs of vti 2.2 the drivers already installed

Is the RT3070 driver pre-installed in the VTI image or does it need installing from their feeds?

only dvb-t drivers in feeds and according to release info they should already be present ??

I'm assuming you've tried plugging in, then rebooting and going to Network settings to see if its listed?

Yes sorry i should have mentioned ive tried that , wlan option doesnt even show up
just leaves me with lan option

Reboot > Then telnet to duo without doing anything else and send the command dmesg. Copy the output to a text file and post here. Then do the command lsusb.

So i take it i have to add lan connection aswell in order to telnet ?
