How do I force the image not to automatically create this channel in lamedb?

creates an unnecessary position in the list of satellites if Astra2 is not used

That service is used by OpenTV EPG zapper. It is created even if you have not enabled the zapper. It was suggested that it was crated only if enabled, but it seems that is not possible.

Uninstall OpenTV zapper, delete the satellite, restart, it then won't be created automatically.

I applied the changes to a release image as there is no develop image for my box.

1. Set single tuner to 19.2, restarted, init 4, deleted lamedb, init 3, the entry was not made in lamedb. It previously would have been.
2. Reset the tuner to 28.2, restarted, selected the zapper from extensions, it created the entry in lamedb file.
3. Repeated step 1. I then selected the zapper. It did not create the iepg entry. So seems it is working fine. However, I would have expected a notification that there isn't a tuner configured for it to run.

You could do that in the setup page, but, a user can configure/deconfigure a tuner at any time irrespective of this plugin.

Adding a function to run at a specific time would be a good addition in my opinion. It would benefit people who set their boxes to go into deep sleep.

Bring out of deep standby and leave 5 minutes and the download will start. After that the download will happen automatically at the configured interval. So any time the box is woken for more than 10 minutes the EPG will be downloaded.

If the box only has one tuner it will need to be in standby or forced to do the download.
