Have you considered doing stats collection of user settings ?

It would be quite interesting to see things like
- what skin people use
- what satellites they point to
- what plugins people use
- what version they are running
- what make/model

Skin, we polled this before. Skin Simple1080, even before it was made the default skin, more users were using it than all the other skins put together.
