Sorry for such a basic question, but I'm having trouble receiving EPG data using Automaticbouquetsmaker .
I cannot receive the data via the satellite feed due to an issue with my two boxes interfering with each other.
I read that Rytec gets it's data via an internet feed, which might solve my problem.
I'm running OpenViX 6.2.008 on my Mutant HD51.
If someone could point me in the direction of some basic installation instructions, it would be much appreciated.

AutoBouquetsMaker does not do anything with EPG. It just does bouquets.

Install EPG Importer if it isn't pre-installed on your image, it is on Vix.

EDIT: Some more details.

1. Disable the signal/stream EPG readers you do not want to use. For example:
Menu > Setup > Epg > Settings > Enable Virgin EPG (change this to no)

2. Set EPG cache location
Menu > Setup > Epg > Settings > EPG location
Change it to /media/hdd

Your USB flash drive is mounted as /media/hdd. If it isn't say so.

Reboot for this to take effect.

3. Setup EPG Importer
Menu > Setup > Epg > EPG Importer

There are various options. Read the screen for what they do. The most important one is
Automatic import EPG. Do not set anything less than 07:00. Pick a time that suits you, a random time so that everybody does not download from server at same time.

3a. Set EPG importer sources.
Menu > Setup > Epg > EPG Importer

Press Blue button for the "EPG sources".
You have to expand the ones you want and enable the sub categories that you want. They will have a tick.

Rytec General.
Select News

Rytec UK Sat/Virgin XMLTV
Just select all of them.

Green to save.
Perform a manual fetch (yellow button).

The EPG will then fetch at the time you set in step 3 above
