VU+Solo

Hi there, I have a VU+Solo original that I have not used for a number of years and I was wondering if it would be possible to use this as a freesat box by linking it to my sky dish and if anyone could tell me which version of openvix I would need, cheers

We stopped building images for Vu+ Solo several years ago. Solo doesn't have sufficient flash to load a modern image. And there is so little RAM it can't even download the EPG.

Also needs swapfile and cacheflush running to help it . Did not know epg could not be downloaded.
Could it be used as a second box if user updated to a better box with multiple tuners and streamed to that box.

Did not know epg could not be downloaded.For example trying to use CrossEPG downloader and it will run out of resources.

Possible solution might be an original image from VU here http://code.vuplus.com/index.php?action=image&image=30&model=vusolo latest image is from 18th april 22.
