View Full Version : [VU+ Duo2] Downloading image problem
HI,
I tried to download the last image from the "Image Manager" and I had some problems.
The first time I got the usual "load bar" but with "failed", I tried again and this time I got "waiting" instead.
I waited more than 10m but nothing happened and when I tried to exit I realized that there was no way of closing it.
The Channel behind was still going so it wasn't a freeze but there was no way of getting out of the "load" and I had to switch it off from the back.
Is this a known problem?
I tried reloading an old 6.0.003 I had but the result was the same.
Any thoughts?

whilst in ImageManager, hit the menu button and check your images are on the correct device, then make sure there is space on the device.
Then try again.
If I disconnect the network during a download, the progress bar stops, below it remains "In progress", but does not wake up when I re-connect the lan.
No sign of network activity in the debug log.
"In progress" changes to "Failed" when I init 4.

Could you also try pulling out the power cable and see if the download resumes when you reinsert it.

I assume you're joking, anyway the OP has already had to do that. The box locks up, and, as you know, powering off is not a good idea, so thanks for suggesting it.
Just showing what happens when a network connection fails, a bit like #1, perhaps?
If the download fails the task queue is blocked anyway so the box would need a restart.
