I'm having the same problem with my Gigablue UHD quad4k. I've changed the LNB and redone the connectors at each end. It did work for a little while after this, showing a strong signal, but within hours nothing again. Can I test the dish & cable with the Satellite connection on my LG TV or will it be incompatible with the unicable LNB etc?

Can you post your tuner configuration

Hopefully, this is what you meant, I know photographing the screen shows a lack of skills.

so got new Inverto 32UL42 and reconfigured the tuner settings ... but still no signal. Your tuner setup says you are using a G-Sat LNB.

Issue this command by Putty/Telnet.

cat /etc/enigma2/settings | grep config.Nims > /tmp/bongo163config.txt

It will create a file with your tuner configs in /tmp directory. Save to PC, then attach to forum.

Guide to issuing commands in my signature as well as how to take screenshots. I would also recommend you draw a picture detailing what hardware you have and how you have hooked up/wired the devices. Showing splitters/switches/lnb etc.

I've managed to create the file but am struggling to save it to my local PC.

There are few guides on youtube on how to FTP. You can also do the reverse in the picon guide here
https://www.world-of-satellite.com/showthread.php?53119-Picons-How-to-add-picons-to-your-receiver&p=415497&viewfull=1#post415497

Or paste contents of file on forum.

Do you have FTP program on your computer such as FileZilla.
If so get the IP number of your box Menu -> Information -> Network -> IP
Your user name will be root
Your password will be the one you set up, or Menu -> setup -> network -> password you can press the text button on your remote to get an easier way on inputting the password.. Paswords are case sensitive.

In FileZilla (or any ftp program)
Host - IP number of your box
Port - can be left blank
Encryption - Use explicit FTP over TLS if available
Login type - normal
User - root
Password - your password

Do you have SAMBA enabled on the box?
Menu ->setup ->network> utilities -> samba
If so look in the Network section of Fie Explorer on your PC

My Gigable UHD UE 4k is connected by a single unicable directly to the lnb. Everything works perfectly some of the time, showing high signal levels, then nearly every evening no signal and it can't tune to any satellite channels. Freeview still works.

I've replaced the LNB and redone the connectors at each end of the cable.

Again thanks.

You need to get someone round to put a proper meter on it.

Your tuner configuration is a mess. Why have you got tuner B set to loop through to tuner A? Why have you set tuner for "UPC Kabel Wien"? There is also a mismatch between your picture and the settings file. Are you turning off the power switch at rear of box by any chance?

The factory reset process will allow you to reset your tuner configuration only and you can set it up correctly following the guide and go from there.

I've used the rear power switch to turn the box off and back on once or twice if it's crashed. I'll follow the guide you posted and set the tuners back up again and update how it goes.

Thanks Again for everyone's help.

If the box is still responding after a crash put it into deep standby before turning off the power switch.

If you do use the power switch it is advisable to leave the power off for a couple of minutes before turning it back on. This gives any internal voltages a chance to fully discharge so that on next power on nothing in volatile memory is remembered from prior to a crash..
