As the title says, does the dreambox dm800 hd original support usb dvbs tuners or additional plug and play?

as far as im aware i have not seen it being mentioned but most release notes of images explain if they can be used or not

i think dm8000 can but not dm800

sundtek is yr best bet though if it does

Yeh it was in regards to a genuine dm800. You got any feedback on them or has anyone else? What can they be compared too as im guessing notthe duo and more the solo?

I sold my dm800 in preference for getting a duo...

If I were to look at getting a dm800, it would have to be the hd se, but I don't think I would forego the opportunity of a vu duo or maybe even the et9000 (altho support is thin on the ground for that atm), as for the cost comparison, the dm800 just is not worth it...

But yes, the dm800 does do dtt in the dream-elite images. Not sure about any others tho ?

Also the SIFTeam and EDG-Nemesis images support DTT.

Generally I find the German/Dutch/Nordic images don't support DTT while the Italian images do (I think DTT has much more content in Italy)

cheers guys. it was just a hunch as i found someone offering the dm800hd original, but then in previous topics, the qbox mini hd seems a steal as well and thats can be a dual tuner too for cheaper and with a warranty lol so thanx for the feedback but ill have a gud think about this
