Not sure I can achieve what I want but here goes

I currently have a sky satellite mini dish with an 8 output conventional lnb supplying 5 x octagon sf8008 4k twin receivers which means 2 x boxes can't record while another channel is being watched, I can't afford to change all the boxes at once but am looking to go towards adding a second uni cable lnb to the dish so first question is can a sky mini dish handle a twin lnb holder and provide a signal to both?
If this is achievable does the uni cable run off the same cable as the existing one?
On the basis of when I change the boxes what's the best reasonably priced one that will run off a uni cable lnb?
I'm only really looking to achieve being able to watch one channel while recording another on all 5 boxes but changing to uni cable is the only way I see this as achievable at the moment.
Any help or suggestions at this point greatly received.
Thanks.

I am sure you will get better answers but 1st thought is replace LNB with a unicable LNB like the GigaBlue Ultra SCR-LNB / 24 SCR - 2 Legacy UHD 4K LNB. Means you have 1 cable from the LNB and then split off 2 connections to each receiver (5 x sf8008 - wow, but why replace them? ) and then you can add even more receivers.

Thanks TWOL, unfortunately the sf8008 doesn't play nice with my IPTV so I was hoping something like the Gigablue Quad will play nicer but also the sf doesn't support the uni cable lnb as in allowing me to run single cable to them and retain the recording features so I was looking to change all of them eventually. I like your suggestion though if I'm understanding right I can just split the cables, can this be done outside the building with a simple splitter?

If you attach two LNBs to one dish, they don't point at the same satellite.

Q: On the basis of when I change the boxes what's the best reasonably priced one that will run off a uni cable lnb?
A/R: All Enigma2 receivers will work off a unicable LNB/device.

Q: If this is achievable does the uni cable run off the same cable as the existing one?
A/R: Yes, you can use existing cable/s. On some receivers with internal connection/linkage, you can supply both tuners with one signal wire.

A/R: The octagon supports a unicable LNB

A/R: You can put the splitter wherever convenient. If you put it oustide, make sure it is water proof. It has to be a power pass splitter. You can use splitter after splitter too. Have a look at the sponsor's site.
