Hi and thank you for reading.

I recently bought A technomate TM-2300 motor. Once it is set up, does the green LED glow permanently?

I want to move the dish manually using the button on the motor. However once the box is booted the LED stays on for about 30 seconds. Can anyone advise how to activate the motor? The STB is a VU+DUO2.

Do you have the manual for the motor? I am sure there are instructions on how to manually move the dish.

Why do you want to manually move it?

Dear Abu Baniaz
I have cut a length of coax in order to test the motor inside the house before mounting it outside, as where it will be positioned will be two ladder climbs. What I was finding was that once I rebooted the box, The LED would illuminate indicating the motor was receiving power. However, this condition would only last for about 45 seconds. Since my first post I have since discovered that this is normal and the box disables that circuit to conserve power. By using the setup menu, I can navigate my way to a location where I can activate the motor and move it manually and fine tune. Now that that is out the way, I just have to now find a detailed tutorial on how to align the dish correctly. Would you know if this motor supports USALS as there is no mention of this in the accompanying booklet.

Kind regards

Tony Simpson.

You don't move the motor with buttons. You have to move whole assembly.

The motor supports USALS.
