Dear All,

My device:

Brand & Model: GigaBlue UHD UE 4K
Chipset: Broadcom 7252s

Software
System OE: OE-Alliance 4.3
Firmware version: OpenViX 5.3.039 (2020-07-19)
Kernel / Drivers: 4.1.20 / 20200312

The device has an IP of x.x.105.42 there are no issues accessing it from the x.x.105.x network, however from my remote site which is connected via VPN the network is x.x.110.x

When I try and connect to the box's Web interface I get:

Forbidden
403.6 IP Address Rejected

Has anyone else seen this and is there a way to white list IP ranges.

Thank you.

Could there somehow be a Microsoft web proxy between your computer and the Internet at your "remote site"?

If you search for "403.6 IP Address Rejected", the answer might be that given in:

I think you should enable the VPN option in Webif https://wiki.openpli.org/Webif , good luck.

See above, it was a Webif setting to allow IP addresses outside the current range.

Thank you for replying.

Anyhow this confusing use of Microsoft IIS status codes on Linux machines seems to have been removed from the current versions of OpenVIX.
Maybe you should update.
