now I have my main box on 3 fixed sats and 1 rotor. All the other boxes in the house are sharing from that box with fall back tuner. Would it be possible to install the octagon SF8008 (slave now) with a disk on 5W and share that box on eeh main box ? What I mean is would the main box take the FTA (french) channels on 5W as primary instead of using his channel list an rotor position ? Main box is DUO2 so no possibllity to use the streams on 5W.

If in wrong section pls move question

So Duo2 can't open the MIS channels and the box knows it so will forward the request to a fallback tuner.

Better would be to use RCSC to copy the French MIS bouquet to the Duo2.

And on the sf8008 download the MisPlsLcnScan plugin from the feeds and this will create a bouquet as the broadcaster intended.

Lastly, yes, you can connect a disc to sf8008.

right but in vix I have fallback tuner. Now the SF8008 is set so that he takes channels from the main box duo2 (4 tuners) .I would like the sf8008 decode the multistream on 5W and fallback on the duo2.Also for recording.Maybe will test it next week if I find the time

RCSC on the Duo2 so you can receive the MIS channels from sf8008.

Use MisPlsLcnScan to make the the bouquet on the sf8008. Obviously the sf8008 needs to be connected to a dish to receive from 5.0W.
