ok thank you.im in east of England. Have motorised and tracks 42e to 30west but these 2 satellites are weak.I pick up some like supersport but its only 40% but 30west 70 to 80 so it must trac the arc ok

I would suggest that you are not tracking the arc correctly. 42E has pretty strong transponders beaming towards UK and Ireland, so you should pick up the majority. If you are getting 30W ok (also strong) but not 42E (and maybe 39E also?), maybe your motor and dish are not pointing directly south when it's at zero (motor goto zero), so you are hitting the westerly sats ok, but going off the arc as you go more easterly? Make sure your dish is exactly centre on the line on the motor. Also check that the motor is exactly plumb on the mounting pole. I'm much further west than you (at 6W) and get all transponders beaming to UK/Ireland on 42E on an 80cm dish. Also get excellent signal from 30W.

Thank you for that. Does 16 east DigitAlb work as well?
