What do I need to to utilise the twin tuner. Just playing last night ,was about to watch football , missus wants over the f'in rainbow on. I set it to record on BBC HD, twice then Casualty on BBC1 turn over watch football. 7 o'clock banner comes up recording Over the Rainbow, 9 o'clock does the same . 9.30 turns over to BBC1 to record Casualty and locks the box so I miss the end of the football. When finished I check the recordings and the 2 Over the Rainbow's don't work, Casualty did. I realise that high/low band and vertical/horizontal. Do I need a quad LNB with twin feeds or what else do you suggest, Cheers.

a dual lnb or a quad will do the job for you as a separate feed will go to each tuner. so, u can watch a channel and record the other regardless of transponder details.

if u need recommendation for lnb, then i'd advice to go with an inverto black (premium or ultra) 0.2db dual or quad. I also heard the invacom is a good one but much more expensive.

I've set up a quad LNB with twin feeds with independent tuners but when recording one channel refuses to change to certain channels.
What have I done/not done?

u need to set tuner A and tuner B independently. this can be done menu>setup>service searching>tuner configuartion

r u sure you have bought a quad and not a quattro lnb. both have four connection but operation is totally different.

rescanned everything but have a few channels greyed out eg. Kerrang, which my son watches. Silly thing is I had it the other day before the re-setup and re-scan?
