View Full Version : Can't see tuner B to configure for terrestrial
Edision os MIni combi was able to have satellite and terrestrial. I cannot find tuner b to configure for terrestrial but tuner A is working fine foe satellite. Is there a way to enable the terrestrial tuner?
OS MINI+ does not have a tuner B. Tuner A is a single, multi-role tuner that can tune DVB-S/S2, DVB-T/T2 and DVB-C.
If you are using OpenViX image, look for the line in the tuner config that says "Configure DVB-T".

Hello Huevos,
Thanks for your response.
If I understand you correctly I cannot run satellite and terrestrial together?
I can configure them separately but I thought that I had them both plugged into the box and running together previously.
Here a some screenshots of my setup

They should be separate tuners on the OS Mini Combo. Not sure why you can't see the DVB-T tuner though.

Ah OK..
Not loosing my mind so. Could be a hardware issue so?

61861No. It is one tuner with 2 sockets.

Your attachments show you are using an image that is 4 years out of date.
Please load the lastest OpenViX, 5.4.009.
The fact that on Tuner a you can switch it from DVB-S2 to DVB-T2 proves its just one tuner if you had separate tuners the the DVB-S2 tuner that would be the only option the the other tuner you would be able to select DVB-T2 and DVB-C.
Definitely only one tuner

Let's wait and see.
The OS Mini+ Plus has a single DVB-S/C/T tuner.
The OS Mini Combo has 1 x DVB-S and 1 x DVB-C/T tuner.
I was able to have satellite and terrestrial run from the box together. Now I need terrestrial running from tuner on TV (not ideal).
I believe there was 2 tuners but would not swear on it.
I have no problem upgrading but it was working until recently. In dmesg I can see both tuners (I think) I will upload as soon as possible

Any chance that you have flashed the wrong firmware?
I will be heck it out and maybe upgrade to latest version as suggested

I used to have the twin sat version but there was a combi as well. I sold mine ages ago though.

If there are two tuners and the mini+ firmware can't see the DVB-T one but works correctly apart from that then, might there be a chance you could just install the appropriate driver?
Any chance of photo on front and rear just in case of box in use.
