View Full Version : from dm7000 to vu+ Poblems ?

i ve got a new vu+ which is a great machine but i am struggling

two big problems
i ve setup tuner B to a fixed hotbird dish which is working perfect
tuner A is set up to a motorized dish with diseq motor but i cannot seems to work it out very well

i ve tried both option with positioner with the right longitude and altitude but satfinder is not locking anything

tried diseq not much happening

with my dm7000 it was so easy


the second prob is i installed cccam but is not reading my viaccess card i have card in upper slot

do i need to insert it opposite way like dm7000 or not and what s right cccam cfg ?

any help will be appreciated as i ve been struggling for 4 days now

Viaccess cards i'm pretty sure can be used in CCcam with out any config in CCcam.cfg. Have you tried both slots with the chip face down?

I'm using a similar set up , fixed dish with 3 lnb's on tuner A and motorized on tuner B ,i have tuner b setup in advanced,works fine for me.Probably the long way round of doing it but i was used to doing it this way when the dishes were connected to one tuner.

and if i put advanced and used diseq do i put usals yes or now and what the difference please ?

as for my card i ve tried both slots with chip facing down and when i go to entitlements it says no or unknow card inserted

It needs to go in as 48.594 n and 2.121e simple setup is all you need.

mode positioner
longitude 002.121
east
latitude 048.594
north


saved and then when i go to satfinder it doesnt lock

what am i doing wrong

Have you got any channels on your box or are you just using the satfinder ?
If not load some channels up and see if you can pick them up.

Sorted i ve downloaded cccam channels infos and cccam providers to var etc

and now i can see my card with expiry date

This means he has his card in the upper slot. sci0,is the first slot, sci1 is the second slot.

Remove smart card clock frequency , that may help as in not supported in Cccam on VU boxes
