Solo2 and Lumagen scaler

Hi guys. Recently got a used Lumagen scaler and hooked it up to my Solo2. Read to get the best out of the Solo2, I need to output 576i for SD & 1080i for HD. In the openvix audio & video settings i only get a choice to output SD as 720p. I installed auto resolution plugin. But only get a choice of 1 global output resolution. So have set to 1080i 50 for now.

Hence what’s the best way to set the box to output 576i 50 for SD & 1080i 50 for HD?

I think most people are using hd more than sd and have box setup to 1080p or 1080i.

I dont use scaler or picture stretching on tv as switched off and user interface can adjust picture to fit tv screen on box so the picture fits the screen.

Ok cool. Shall I leave it at 1080i 50 then. For both HD & SD ?

Seeing the box has hd function i would use 1080i 50,older boxes might just have scart leads so no hd.
