Password Changes

I am somewhat surprised by the 30 day requirement to change passwords on a forum. The password is not protecting any financial information. The 30 days change is also more frequent than my Ministry of Defence 3 month change, when I was there.
After a change, I then get a couple of rejected log ins.
So I think it is a little over the top and could be safely relaxed to several months.
