30 west sky dish

i live in wesy yorkshire iov got a 1 meter dish but there is a tree in the way just wandering would a sky dish pick up 30 west iof so i could put on my chimney stack regards deltec

Can you look over a roof with a dish rather than attaching it to a chimney stack to avoid the tree?
