Hi

Can someone explain to me what is great about having DVB-T What does it allow me to do? I have 2 cables feeding off my dish into my VU DUO box but i saw on the VIX v2.0 that it has DVB-T now ?

Would appreciate if someone can clarify the benefits of this please?

Thanks

For example in my country DVB-T channels are better quality than those on satellite.
Also sometimes DVB-T channels are not on satellite.

DVB-T = terrestrial tv. basically the same channels you can get on your digibox tv as standard.
personally i dont see what all the hype is about, after all why spend hundreds of pounds on a satellite receiver then plug a ruddy terrestrial card into it ??.

huh maybe i'm just dense.

its main benifits are for recording a 2nd or 3rd tuner means more recoding possability

ie recording a sat channel tuner a then recording another on tuner b and watch or record a third on tuner c or any combination
